Once a year, Canowindra is flooded with tourist to take part in its International Balloon Challenge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this, visitors can take a paid hot air balloon ride, which last for about an hour or watching the balloon from a distance. There is also a competition during the festival, where participants are scored based on how closed they can land on a predefined spot.<\/p>\n\n\n
